You'll be selling a couple more of these once my fellow 30-something computer programmer friends give mine a try. I can't believe the range of motion, the full muscle stretch and the quiet, smooth operation. The simplicity of setup, the ability to naturally and instantly change the angle of attack to stretch, flex and burn the &*^% out of my arms and chest is awesome! I'm 5'10, 205 and bench press 200. I used to be 175 and bench press 220. I'll be back there shortly with this machine. I can feel it already. On the middle setting with a full stretch, I am struggling to do a chest fly, bench press combo and my muscles feel great. To all of you reading this who think it's BS... try it. Two minutes on it and you'll be on your way to writing a testimonial too. It's that good.

I am writing to the skeptical people who are riding the fence of which machine to buy. I am a person that does not like to spend money, so the machine I purchased had to be the right one. I studied for months.

...I am here to tell you that everything they claim is true. I love Total Gym. It is fun easy on my back, easy to use, and a good workout. The short time I have used it, I have noticed more energy. I have played football for 40 years and still play in a touch league on Sundays. I played semi-pro for over 25 years and in 1995, went into the minor pro-football hall of fame. I have worked out for many years to be able to play this long, benching, squats and so on. I always tried to push to the limit and get bigger and bigger. My many, many injuries caught up and my workouts became less and less. The pain no longer was worth it. A year ago, my wife {who runs marathons - 18 so far} bought a Total Gym. Of course I told her it looked good, and that I would use it with her, knowing I probably wouldn't waste my time and not get a good workout. I have now become hooked on this machine. I now weigh 225 lbs and feel really good, ready to start another season of football.

Dear Total Gym,

A few years ago, I was a very young and unhappy twenty-something year old woman with a weight problem. Moving out to a small city made it easy for me to start spending some "quality time" in front of the television set, and begin stuffing my face with unhealthy food. Well, before I knew it, I'd gained over eighty pounds! I saw your television ads for the Total Gym, but disregarded them as just another marketing ploy. After all, I had bought other workout toys before, and these things would be set aside, out of boredom and an unwillingness to stick to the exercises.

I looked in the mirror and realized just how I had let myself go. I couldn't believe it! I decided I would drastically alter my life...

...I made my mind up to buy one of these "Total Gyms." Not to say that Total Gym is something magical, but once I got used to it and had been on it for a little bit, I just couldn't seem to stop using it. I started seeing real results; I couldn't believe it! This thing motivated me to do more as far as fitness was concerned. I am now doing a whole array of strenuous workouts; my friends call me a workout-aholic. Your machine was so convenient and effective to use that it was literally a pleasure, and before I knew it I was running, kickboxing, etc... Oh, and the flab? That's old news. I look in the mirror now and I see the strong, sexy woman I wanted to be.

I guess in today's hectic and sedentary lifestyle, it is hard to take care of oneself, but if you can put together an efficient and comfortable workout for yourself, then you can stick to it. Anyone can change and get the body of his or her dreams if they believe, and have the right means of getting it. My motivation started with the Total Gym and escalated. It works everything out, fast and effective. It truly is a wondrous product. I tell everyone that my lean and mean muscle definition has been acquired on my Total Gym. I brag about it especially to my male friends, many of whom tend to put everything but free-weights down. Well, they don't laugh when I show them the proof and results of my workouts on my great machine. Thanks so much for inventing this product, as it has literally changed my life.

...This Total Gym is the bomb! It's very easy once you get used to it. My workouts are cut in half, and do I get a pump. I'm not in it for the big muscles. I'm 32 and have nothing to prove, but to just stay in the best shape I can. This machine is GREAT. It does what it is suppose to do, and the commercials are not gimmicks. It's for real. I do combine my exercises with aerobics workouts too. If you're not motivated to start your workouts, just do one set of pull-ups on the Wing Attachment, and that's enough to stimulate the body to go forth. The ease is great, and it is easy to move from one body part to another. You just have to try it to believe it.

...I wish everyone out there could have a chance to experience the TOTAL GYM program. I started back on June 27, 2000. I weighed in at 228lbs with a chest size of 41 inches and a waist of 40 inches and bicep of 11 inches. As of yesterday, I weight 200lbs,my chest size is at 44 inches, my waist at 36 inches and my bicep at 13 inches. My strength has doubled! I have been watching my food intake but no real strict diet, just using the TOTAL GYM five times a week.

To say that I am pleased is an understatement. As a former teacher of the martial arts in year's prior, weights were the only thing available to help one get into shape. The TOTAL GYM does it safely and more effectively. It is the most fun you can have without laughing. I have one problem that your product does not cover! I have had to purchase all new shirts and jackets. But who really cares? It's been worth it. The biggest improvement, however, did not come in weight loss or muscle gain. It came with my high blood pressure problem. I no longer have to take medication! How can I thank you for this wonderful thing!!! I know that my results may not be typical, but the past four months have been so rewarding that I just had to e-mail you and your staff with this information. Many of my friends have watched my progression and have purchased a TOTAL GYM themselves. I have found myself playing personal trainer at times for them. I really enjoyed it and was glad to help (reminded me of the old days). So far all buyers are really happy and getting results.

We received our Total Gym about a month ago. There was a flaw in the seat. I wrote customer service, and a new seat arrived within days. We were very pleased with the prompt and courteous service. My husband, who was not in favor of the purchase, found a great improvement in his flexability within weeks. He has since thanked me for purchasing the Total Gym. We have owned other exercise machines and have always been disappointed. I hate to exercise and I can honestly say I ENJOY using the Total Gym. The variety of exercises keeps it from being boring and enables you to exercise every part of your body.
